Senior Account Executive

About the role

We're looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our Sales team in New York. You'll own the full sales cycle for mid-market and enterprise accounts, building relationships that matter and closing deals that move the business forward.

In this role, you'll:

  • Manage a pipeline of qualified prospects from initial discovery through contract signature
  • Lead product demonstrations and craft proposals tailored to each prospect's specific needs
  • Navigate complex organizations to identify stakeholders and build consensus
  • Partner with our Customer Success team to ensure smooth handoffs and long-term account growth
  • Forecast accurately and maintain detailed records in our CRM
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to surface insights from the field
  • Represent Sample Corporate Co. at industry events and conferences

This is a hybrid role based in New York, NY, with an expected 3 days per week in our Midtown office. The compensation range is $130,000–$160,000 base salary, plus commission and equity.

Requirements
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota in a B2B sales environment
  • Strong ability to understand customer pain points and translate them into compelling business cases
  • Experience selling complex products or services with deal cycles of 3–6 months
  • Skilled at managing multiple opportunities simultaneously without dropping threads
  • Comfortable presenting to C-level executives and technical stakeholders alike
  • Excellent written and verbal communication—you can explain complicated concepts simply
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating across teams
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with our industry or adjacent markets
  • Experience using Salesforce, Gong, or similar sales tools
  • Existing relationships with decision-makers at target accounts in the New York area
  • Background in account management or customer success before moving into sales
